MATTOON — The Little Love Maternity & Baby store has moved into the Cross County Mall and is gearing up for its first Christmas shopping season there.

Owner Hannah Brundridge of Mattoon said she tripled the size of her retail space by moving from the downtown storefront, where the boutique opened in summer 2021, to the former Christopher & Banks of the mall. She said mall owner Rural King contacted her about available space.

“Everything kind of lined up perfectly for us to move in here,” Brundridge said. “We’ve just been able to expand so much more on what we’re capable of doing.”

Brundridge said it has expanded and expanded its product line for toddlers in preemie-6T sizes and for extra-small-3X maternity wear. Its product lines include Angel Dear baby clothes, Itzy Ritzy baby backpacks and accessories, Kyte Baby pajamas and sleeping bags, Melissa & Doug wooden puzzles, and Penguin Random House books.

This expansion helped achieve Brundridge’s goal of making the store a place where pregnant women and new mothers can get clothes and supplies they need that might not be readily available elsewhere.
